Description

To get to this trail you'll need to hike a long ways along either the Calamity Brook Trail or the Elk Lake to Mount Marcy Trail. Which ever way you take, you'll have to continue all the way to the Four Corners Trail which is on the shoulder between Mount Marcy and Mount Skylight.

From Four Corners, turn south. The trail will quickly become steep. The trail can be a slog and is heavily-wooded at first. However, it at least isn't far to the rewarding parts. There will be some rocky areas with clearings that will present amazing views of Mount Marcy.

From the summit, you'll have 360° views. Head back down the way you came and continue on your Adirondack adventures.
