Description

This trail is a great, quick hike on a crushed granite/dirt path. The trail follows along Prairie Creek and is very well maintained, but be wary of mud after rains.

There are some great viewpoints along the creek including an excellent footbridge over the creek at the midway point as well as Prairie Creek Waterfall. It is an unexpected gem that is definitely worth the stop.

Overall, this is a great trail that enjoys plenty of shade year round. This is an excellent place to enjoy in the fall if you can time your visit with the changing of the leaves.

Cute little walking trail in the middle of a residential area. I took my pup and we walked from the middle to either end and back. The waterfall was great, we didn't get to take full advantage because there were a few photoshoots going on. If you're looking to completely disconnect, I would look elsewhere. Parts of the trail backed up to the surrounding homes. Though if you're looking for a quick change of scenery and an easy walk with some views, try here! Sep 23, 2018
