Description
This trail is a great, quick hike on a crushed granite/dirt path. The trail follows along Prairie Creek and is very well maintained, but be wary of mud after rains.
There are some great viewpoints along the creek including an excellent footbridge over the creek at the midway point as well as
Prairie Creek Waterfall. It is an unexpected gem that is definitely worth the stop.
Overall, this is a great trail that enjoys plenty of shade year round. This is an excellent place to enjoy in the fall if you can time your visit with the changing of the leaves.
