There are gates on the pedestrian bridge that are only open from dawn until dusk. Stick to the main trail and look for golf carts when entering Sherrill Park.

Parking is only available at Lookout Park.

Description

This northern portion of Owens Trail is a paved trail that continues around Lookout Park and takes you across a nice footbridge through Sherrill Park Golf Course and ends just outside the parking lot. It is accessible for hiking, running, and cycling.
