Trail shared by Donovan Fitzgerald

A short route along a dry creek bed leading up to the falls and sink of Ranger Falls.

Donovan Fitzgerald

Features River/Creek · Views · Waterfall

If high water is present, do not proceed. The trail crosses the riverbed on the way up, making for a dangerous crossing.

Description

This is a short trail, especially if you can cross the Big Creek. Don't let a dry bed fool you, the waterfall drains into a sink.

At the top, you'll find Ranger Falls. This is a great place to take a break prior to back-tracking and climbing out of the valley on the steep Big Creek Gulf Trail.
