If high water is present, do not proceed. The trail crosses the riverbed on the way up, making for a dangerous crossing.

Description

This is a short trail, especially if you can cross the Big Creek. Don't let a dry bed fool you, the waterfall drains into a sink.

At the top, you'll find Ranger Falls. This is a great place to take a break prior to back-tracking and climbing out of the valley on the steep Big Creek Gulf Trail.

Clear trail to the falls. Don’t be fooled by the dry creek bed crossings, the falls flow into a sink hole
