Description

West Road, also called "Road 0", starts at the ski area lodge and ascends on a gentle grade to the west, crossing all the ski runs on the western side of Pajarito Mountain. In the winter, this is the return ski run back to the lodge and for ski-mobile access up the western side of the mountain. In the summer, it is the first of several roads and trails that leads to the top of the mountain from the west. The road ends at the intersection with "Road 1" on the ridge adjacent to the Valles Caldera National Preserve. More information about the National Reserve can be found
