Family Friendly Moderate grades and a short length make this trail fun for the whole family.

Open sunrise to sunset. Pets, horses, bikes, picnics, and smoking prohibited. Suggested donation of $3 for adults and $2 for children and seniors at the trailhead up the hill from the entrance.

Description

It's about 0.5 to 0.75 miles to get to the connecting ends of this trail, but it is totally worth it when you get to the waterfall located at about the halfway point.

If you want flat terrain, stay to the west side of the trail, but if you want some serious step-climbing or descending, head east. There's an active river at the creek/Yaupon Trail Connector if you need a break.
