Description

It is just a little over 5k on this out and back trail, but this is by far my favorite section of the battlefield park to hike. You can access the trailhead from a parking spot near the Taylor Farm Site, and hike down the Park Tour Road / Siege Road to the concrete post AA. This is a shared trail with rocks, roots, some flooding during rainy days, and a little elevation change. You can get to Fort Haskell on this trail and take a small tour of the POIs there as well.

Flora & Fauna

Oaks, pines, maples, birds, deer, and turtles.
