The Old Mill and Beaver Lake Trail loop is a scenic trail that is a combination of fire roads and trails. The views of the lake are just beautiful.

Pocahontas State Park entrance fee is required.

Old Mill Trail and Beaver Lake Trail is a 4.1-mile loop trail located near Chesterfield, Virginia, in Pocahontas State Park. You'll share parts of this trail with mountain bikers, runners, and hikers.

The trail primarily consists of fire roads. The terrain varies throughout the loop, and there are muddy areas and a creek to cross on the Beaver Lake section. This route features a beautiful view of Beaver Lake and the waterfall/dam near the end of the loop.

There is a wide variety of birds on this trail and other wildlife.
