A five mile loop with gentle grades in the shadow of Dakota, Lyons, and Niobrara hogbacks.

Features Views · Wildlife

Description

Head south a short distance out of the parking area to find the signed route where the loop begins. The loop includes a wide-open experience on the edge of the hogback overlooking a valley with views of the Chatfield Reservoir. A 1.1-mile, hard-surface connector through a residential area completes the circle.

Easy trail just to get out there and get some miles in. To complete the loop, you'll have to walk through a residential area. Nice area though. 5mi — 2h 10m
