Description

The trail starts off as an easy flume trail from the intersection with Ho Chi Min Trail #9155 that contours beneath Ophir Mountain in Frisco. After about 0.2 miles, the trail crosses a wider path that heads down to the right (NE) toward the hospital. Cross this trail (un-named as far as I know) and pick up Henry Recen again to your left. From this point on, the trail becomes significantly more difficult.

From this point, the trail has a more pronounced drop off to the right. There are some enjoyable and interesting wooden features that were built by the local mountain bike communty, and a few rocky bits before you turn a hard right down a steep, but wide, section that heads down to the north, northeast. After a short, loose downhill, the trail flattens out and ends at the intersection with Miner's Creek Road. While the wooden features were built with bikes in mind, they're equally as fun to hike over, and add a bit of additional thrill to your outing.
