Description

After crossing Lehman Creek on the Alpine Lakes Loop Trail, take this trail as it splits off and heads east. This first 1/4 mile is on a north facing slope, so snow can persist here through July.

Once the trail turns south it gently gains altitude until you arrive at the Bristlecone Pine Grove. Follow the interpretive loop trail here to learn more about these amazing trees.
