Ticks on east side of notch.

Description

This trail can be considered two parts. The first, starting at the Kanc and ending at Cedar Brook Trail is a heavily traveled route to bag the Hancock Peaks. Continuing on, it becomes very lightly traveled. From Cedar Brook Trail to the notch is not blazed but from notch to Sawyer River Trail is. There are major washouts and significant erosion on the river. We beat back the hobblebush but it encroaches readily.
