Description
Access this trail at the marked trailhead off Howland Hill Road, across from Little Bald Hills Trail parking and trailhead.
Head northwest along the Smith River, which is the last major undammed river in California. In the summer months, these pristine waters flow next to an old-growth redwood forest, while being home to a thriving school of chinook salmon and steelhead trout.
