Family Friendly Camping availability and swimming holes make this shorter loop perfect for the whole family.

Description

From the parking lot, start down the track into the Grundy Forest. You'll shortly reach the cascading stream that follows the trail, surrounded by ancient trees. You'll descend down the rocky trail and come across the Blue Hole Falls. After about a mile, you'll come to a separate trail that leads you to Sycamore Falls and the Fiery Gizzard Trail. Staying on the Grundy loop, you'll make your way around to Hanes Hole Falls, which could be a great swimming hole in the hot summer months. Moving forward, the trail ascends back up to a campground and towards the parking lot.
