This short trail leads hikers from an important trail junction with the Panorama Loop Trail
to the summit of Warren Peak. Along the way to this point, visitors will most likely have made their way through a pinyon and juniper forest, and that type of vegetation will continue to the summit. The trail will become a bit more difficult than the surrounding trails, and you'll likely spend as much time watching your footing as you'll admiring the scenery. The final push the summit is quite steep, but well worthwhile.
From the rocky top, the views of the area are spectacular. The summit is pointed, which makes for a tough place to have lunch, but if you can nibble and stand, you won't be disappointed. The Coachella Valley spreads below you, as do views of Palm Springs, Mt. San Jacinto, and Eureka Peak.
