Description

Starting from the top of the trail, access is available from Nichol Road. Hikers will travel through a 20 foot open field with power lines. Shortly after, an intersection in the trail can take you to another campground (to the right) or take a hard left and continue on Heron Trail. This is where the downhill starts.

Tough to hike when muddy, this section runs hard downhill following groundwater streams, until eventually connecting with the Wetlands Trail.
