This a short hike that offers views of the lake as well as the pond. It has a great cell phone tour to identify the trees found at Harris Lake County Park.
Description
There is also a self-guided cell phone tour that can be accessed by your cell phone or smart phone. Signs will have either the tour number or QR code attached, linking you directly to the tour's mobile version. Visitors can call the Harris Lake Cell Phone Tour number at 919-424-0042 and then press the corresponding number at each trail stop. Other instructions on the audio tour are available within the main menu.
The audio tour will provide descriptions of a few of the plants and animals that live at Harris Lake County Park, and turns this shorter, mostly flat trail into a great learning experience.
