Family Friendly Relative proximity to services in Yosemite and Mammoth, some challenging climbs and some long flat sections make it a good candidate for an outdoorsy family.

Re-routes appear along the trail from time to time to bypass heavily impacted areas. Be aware of these and follow signs on the trail accordingly.
