Sarah Baker

Features River/Creek · Wildlife

Family Friendly This nature trail is fun for the entire family as it is easy, short, and flat.

Description

The trail starts near the Newhalem Creek Campground entrance station and amphitheater. The trail skirts the campground, following the Skagit River. Enjoy the large trees and lush undergrowth as you follow the mostly level pack gravel trail. Look for plaques along the trail interpreting common trees and plants along the way.
