Description

The Long House Loop acts as the main path around the Wetherill Mesa, from which visitors can access site-specific trails (e.g. Step House Trail, Nordenskiold Trail, Badger House Community Trail, and Long House Trail). Visitors can expect gentle gradients along the path, as well as a smooth, paved surface.

Along the way, be sure to stop at the Kodak House and Long House Overlooks for stunning views of Ancestral Puebloan cliff dwellings. Educational signage along the way is abundant, making it especially easy to learn a bit about the ancient people who once called Mesa Verde home.
