Description

Old Field Bluff Trail winds through several different ecosystems, including riparian woodlands, upland woods, and open grassy meadows. Old Field Bluff Trail meets Robin's Trail, the Bluebird Trail, and the Beech Loop as it traverses a large area of Johnston Mill Nature Preserve.

The trail weaves through a mesic riparian forest and a grassy meadow before climbing the bluffs to an upland hardwood forest. Several trail segments offer great views of the stream below, several of which can be appreciated while relaxing on TLC benches.
