Trail shared by Bonnie Sherar

A multi-use, singletrack trail generally clear of obstacles, except for a few mid-size rocks.

Bonnie Sherar

Features Fall Colors · River/Creek · Wildlife

Family Friendly An easy trail for families, just be aware of that it is also used by mountain bikers and horseback riders!

Description

From the Military Cemetery Trailhead, follow the paved path as it goes down the hill (north). At the bottom of the hill, continue straight onto a singletrack dirt path. The trail is multi-use, so be aware of cyclists and horseback riders.

There are a few easy climbs - nothing serious. The trail will merge with two trails that start lower (closer to the river) and will continue on around the bluff.

On our hike, we took a turn away from the river when we were across from the Waste Water Treatment plant, but Trail 100 continues on toward the Bowl and Pitcher.
