Short loop trail off of the Bear Creek Trail

Scott Krankkala

Features -none-

Description

This alternate to the Bear Creek Trail is designated for foot traffic only, and provides a secondary route if the main trail is crowded. Especially on busy summer weekends, having a "plan B" isn't a bad idea.

Though not as well maintained as the Bear Creek Trail, this trail is still great in that it provides different views, and a more rustic feel. Be warned, the southern extent of the trail is a reclaimed road, and is quite steep. Navigation in this part may be difficult.
