Description

Coming down from the top of Indian mountain and the Grubstake Loop, the Sluicebox trail branches down into the valley and connects to the Apex Trail. This connector is pretty smooth and winding, and crosses through sweeping meadows.

Sluicebox allows you to create a loop option from a number of trails in the area.

Flora & Fauna

Deer and elk are abundant. There is a creek which runs most of the year. Wildflowers, pine forests and meadows are found within the park.
