“A linear trail connecting two historic covered bridges.
”
If starting at Hune Bridge Campground, the trailhead begins a 5-minute walk down the gravel road. This brief section plus the entirety of the trail is well marked with yellow diamond shapes on the trees.
This is a somewhat milder hike compared to the rugged terrain of many Wayne National Forest trails, though there are very steep parts. The covered bridges on either end are historic icons of Washington County and are definitely worth the visit.
