Trail shared by Ralph Palmer

Steep, paved beginning; otherwise, well groomed fine gravel (similar to shoulder mix), 3'-4' wide.

Description

Nice, fairly easy trail through mostly deciduous woods. It's steep at the beginning, but paved for the steep section. Above the steep section, it's well groomed, small gravel. Most of the trail is about 3 to 4 feet wide, although it's much wider near the top, after it crosses the Hot Springs Mountain Trail. Look for white blazes until it crosses the road and the Hot Springs Mountain Trail, where the blazes are blue. The trail ends at the Hot Springs Mountain Tower, with beautiful views of the Ouachita Mountains.

Very boring to go on the ranger led hike, but otherwise a nice shaded trail.
