Description

Accessible from the spillway parking lot or from the western terminus of Appaloosa Trail, this 9 mile singletrack gives constant cover of trees from summer sun, while taking hikers through constant ups and downs at no more than 10% grade.

The trail makes several stream crossings and follows along two for short stretches, making the trail muddy at times. There are definitely roots along the trail but, for the most part, the trail is a good ~9-mile point-to-point for all levels of hiker.
