Description

After a very short jaunt from the trailhead, you'll reach the bridge crossing the Kings River. After that, you'll make a quick loop around the Zumwalt Meadow. The trail does get a bit rocky near the southern section where it briefly climbs along the scree field, but this is very manageable. This short hike is a must hit if you're going through the park.

Beautiful meadow views. Granite and large pines. River is very flat and gentle at this point.
