The pass is snowbound until July and trees are usually cut out by mid-July.
Description
From its beginnings at a junction with South Fork Lime Creek, this trail climbs gently for a little while and pops you into some challenging terrain.
This trail goes over Boardman Pass and does not really make it easy. It is recommended to hit this trail early in the season since it will be less loose and easier to ascend. You basically climb over a small pass before the big pass.
If you can work out a larger loop and use Boardman Creek to access the trail and climb in the reverse direction, then this can be a good way to approach the trail. The only problem with this route is the large commitment.
