Description

Accessed after a short warm up hike from parking on 31st Street, this trail has a sense of isolation due to the hogbacks. The ascent is steady, but gentle.

The beauty of this place always gets me. The combination of rock walls of the hogbacks on the sides, the green mountains in the distance, and the grassy valley with trees and shrubs dotting the landscape is amazing.

Went back with masks on! Longer hike, don't recall exact trail route but stayed on east side and took connectors away from people. Gorgeous day!
