I put this amazing hike at difficult only because I'm 71 years young with a 30# pack and solo hiking. That return hill is a killer. The upper basin of this valley is truly a grand place with lots to offer, not to mention the Olympic marmots that seems to ignore hikers completely. This animal is only found in the Olympic Mountains. One of the best hikes in Washington! Aug 2, 2018
