Description

This is a slightly longer, swampy alternative to the beginning of the Bogachiel River Trail. The trail starts downhill from the parking lot on switchbacks before crossing Morganroth Creek. Leave the Bogachiel River Trail and take the left fork heading northeast. The path winds through dense, ferny forest with moss covered trunks. There is also a nice underwater meadow caused by an artificial beaver dam. The short trail is nearly flat but does have a few stream crossings. Rejoin the Bogachiel River Trail near Kahkwa Creek.

Flora & Fauna

Vine maple, liverwort, dogfern.
