Description

Start this hike from behind the picnic shelter in the Elwah Campground. The trail heads north, gently at first along the base of the hillside. Soon the climb starts, contouring through the forest. After a creek crossing, the grade increases noticeably as a ridge must be surmounted. After a series of short, steep switchbacks, the trail ends abruptly at a high point with views of the Elwah River Valley area.

Some Mud, Fallen Trees - Relatively easy hike with a steep bit at the end. Foggy on the day I climbed so no opinion on the view.
