Description

Shady Lane is a perfect, short day trip that offers views of Cub Peak, Mount Rose and the North Fork of the Skokomish River. While not extremely popular, this short, easy trail goes through some awesome moss-covered forests, as well as giving visitors a chance to access the river and possibly see elk. With a few cool bridges, logged areas and an abandoned mine along the trail.

The Shady Lane Trail is also a historical trail that gives families a chance to explore nature in a very safe region along an easy to follow trail. This trail is perfect all year, but is most stunning during the fall months as the leaves begin to change.
