Family Friendly Take a quick walk after a picnic at The Grotto and enjoy the sights and sounds of the Virgin River.

Description

The Grotto trail provides connectivity between Zion Lodge, the Grotto Picnic Area and multiple trails including the Kayenta Trail and West Rim Trail.

Even though this trail closely parallels the main road, the scenic value is still high. You'd be hard-pressed not to be in awe of the geological wonders around you no matter where you are in the canyon.

Certainly just a trail to be used as a connector, but interesting to see many wasp-like bugs hugged tightly to small white flowers along the way.
