Description

This trail makes a loop all the way around Phelps Lake, making a lovely and peaceful day hike with a good chance of spotting wildlife. The best way to reach the lake is to start from the Laurance S. Rockefeller Preserve Center and take either the Woodland Trail or Lake Creek Trail to Phelps Lake Trail. All of these trails are fairly easy and well traveled.
