The power line cut running north-south inside the dike.
From parking on the west end of Hammerly, the trail west towards the dike.
The lake on the west edge of the power line cut, from the southeast corner. The trailhead for the Banzai Pipeline Trail is on the northeast corner. The GPS coordinates at the northeast lake corner and the west end of the trail are: 29.82017 -95.57914
Bauer Trail running north-south, west of Turkey Creek, between Malsbury and Miles.
A Tire Graveyard from Pre-Reservoir Times
There are helpful white paint trail marks on the Banzai Trail, but they are only on the west side of the trees. Great for hiking from Turkey Creek east towards the dike. But if hiking from the dike going west to Turkey Creek, you don't see them.
