Toward the end of the Glade Trail, it opens up and provides a limited view, which is nice at sunset where the evening light shines through the trees.
Off to the right side of the Glade Trail, you get views of the Branson area and surrounding hills.
The trail is a narrow, dirt singletrack that descends through the woods. On rainy days, water may flood the trail.
A series of waterfalls sit off to the right hand side of the trail shortly after getting on the Shane's Shortcut Trail.

The trail starts to open up as it climbs up the hillside. Views of the surrounding hills open up before you.
There are 3 areas where a power line crosses the trail. From this view, you can see where the power lines split. It provides an opening to see the surrounding hills and a break from walking through the woods.
As the trail levels out, it follows the Roark river for a short distance.
