Description
Visit the historic main house to learn more about the life of Carl Sandburg, the Pulitzer-prize winning poet and biographer, social activist, writer, and folk singer. The house can be visited through guided tours; for more information about the tours, visit the park's website.
In addition to the main house and museum, visitors can also explore the goat farm and several nice and easy trails. The goat farm is open to the public, and you can explore the barns and pet the animals.
Short Walk: It is a 15 minute hike from the parking lot to the main house and barns.
Family Friendly: Kids will love visiting the goat farm.
