Description

Iconic Ramona Falls is one of the top destinations in the Mt. Hood National Forest, but access to the falls requires finding logs to cross, or fording across the Sandy River which can be challenging as there is no bridge. The trail is still very popular, as Ramona Falls is certainly a stunning sight that is well worth the effort to visit.

Half-Day Hike: The falls are accessed from the Ramona Falls Trailhead, with a 3.4-mile hike on the Sandy River Trail, the PCT, and the Ramona Falls Trail.

Got there early and only a handful of folks on the trail. Was an AMAZING hike! Lot was over-flowing when we returned. Go early!

Best waterfall I've seen in awhile! At the water crossing point the river was low and even easy to cross on the way back at 7pm.
