Description

Visitors who have seen enough redwood trees for one day, and who are following the wild call of the Pacific Ocean will love the trip to Enderts Beach. You'll still be making your way through lush, coastal forests to reach the beach, but once you break free of the greenery, you'll have entered a new world. Complete with tide pools, crashing waves, and enormous driftwood logs, visitors will love the untamed feel of this beach.

While you're here, take your time exploring the crescent shaped beach, stopping to admire anemones and sea urchins in the tide pools created at low tide. Though the pools have made the area famous, the wonderful scenery is enough to draw visitors as well.

If you would like to extend your stay at the beach, camping is available at the Nickel Creek Campsite, where you'll enjoy pitching a tent and listening to the sounds of the ocean.

Short Walk: Located not far down Enderts Beach Road from Highway 101, this relaxing spot can easily be reached via a mild hike along a one-mile section of the Coastal Trail.

Family Friendly: The whole family will love admiring unfamiliar animals that make their homes in the tide pools, and the powerful waves make for an exciting highlight to this short hike.
