Description
This is the epitome of a hidden gem. Best done as at least an overnighter. Starting from a small trailhead off NF-68 (off of Foss River Rd NE, south of Hwy 2), you'll have to take the East Fork Foss - Necklace Valley trail to Jade, Emerald and Opal Lakes and then keep going once the trail ends. There can be some difficult navigation over the scree field leading up to Tank Lakes.
Overnight Trip: Approximately 10 miles from the East Fork Foss - Necklace Valley trailhead (#1062). Co-ordinates: 47.6659, -121.2881. Bring a Northwest Forest Pass.
