Description
As you cross the Grand Calumet River bridge going north, the landscape changes dramatically from black oak savanna to massive sand dunes and ponds. It looks like a another planet. More sand than you can imagine!
Short Hike: About 1.1 miles from the Paul Douglas Visitor Center parking lot.
Family Friendly: Kids will love playing along the bluffs found in the dunes. Please keep them on marked trails only, however.
