Description

This spot is the goal for most of the hikers that park at either Thorton Gap or Meadow Spring Trail. Mary's Rock is an amazing view point overlooking Thorton Gap and Skyline Drive. This is the perfect spot to eat your packed lunch and take in the view. There are also lots of rock outcroppings nearby to explore. Keep an eye out for eagles and hawks on this high point.

Short Hike: 1.4 miles on Meadow Spring Trail and the Appalachian Trail AT one way.
