Hickman Natural Bridge [Suggest Edits]
Description
The Hickman Natural Bridge is a wonderful hike, suitable for the whole family even in the middle of the Summer. Nestled within Capitol Reef, a free park to enter, this one-mile, well-marked trail takes you to a beautiful natural arch at its end. My friend and I hiked it in 102 degree heat, and as long as we stayed hydrated, it was delightful. I found it to be a nice hike in spite of my bad knees, and would recommend it to those who are looking for a short, rewarding hike.
Short Hike: Trailhead is at the parking lot. The trail is about one mile long.
Family Friendly: The terrain is fairly easy to traverse and the hike is short. There are few natural dangers on the hike that I would fear for children around.
Gem Type: Natural Arch
