After the Hike: Local Favorites

Taqueria La Cazuela Chipotle? That's for amateurs... Come here to try the real tacos, sopes and burritos. Everything is delicious and fresh!
Three Brothers Tacos Slow service. Really slow service. Food is OK.
Plaza Deli Cafe The owner is the absolutely the friendliest and has great customer service. His salads are fresh and nice. His food is relatively cheap and I was able save 10% with dailygobble.
Back A Yard Caribbean American Grill Any jerk meal with fried plantains
1189 Willow Rd, Menlo Park CA — (650) 323-4244
Chef Zhao Kitchen New and great option for take out! Spicy and delicious!
In-N-Out Burger Double Double with whole grilled onions and Animal style well done fries at any hour of the day. Always get a cup of water with a lemon wedge to make at least some part of the meal healthy.
O Sushi Great little gem in Newark.
34940 Newark Blvd, Newark CA — (510) 792-2888
Papaya Thai vegans: this place has a menu insert that's titled VEGETARIAN in print. They don't have mock chicken & duck which is the only reason I deducted 1 star. eggplant curries & drunken noodles are killer!
6066 Mowry Ave, Newark CA — (510) 792-1988
Sancho's Taqueria Tasty fish taco
491 Lytton Ave, Palo Alto CA — (650) 322-8226
Joya Restaurant & Lounge You gotta Try the Sangira. Just amazing for a pitch its $26, which isnt bad at all!!!
Garden Fresh Vegetarian Restaurant Try the Sweet and Sour "Pork" or the Lemon "Chicken".
Napoletana Pizzeria Guys this is the real Italian stuff! Excellent pizza, and very popular. You'd never guess from location.
Oren's Hummus Shop best hummus I've ever had outside of Israel. the meat hummus and mushroom hummus are ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY AMAZING!
Nola Ladies - try the "Cock & Balls" for dessert. It's actually not on the menu, you have to make a special request for it. It's a brownie & banana split shaped like... uhh... you know.. ;)
535 Ramona St, Palo Alto CA — (650) 328-2722
Coupa Café Listen closely. You may overhear patrons talking about preferred shares, term sheets, or user retention rates at this tech hotspot.
538 Ramona St, Palo Alto CA — (650) 322-6872
Reposado Best Margaritas in town, seriously. Great tasty appetizers too.
ViVe Sol Did you know that they have a dedicated Mole chef who comes in and spends his entire shift JUST carefully crafting his mole for hours and hours.
Pizzeria Delfina Excellent pizza, their Salsiccia is outstanding. Add Fra'Mani Salame Piccante for extra kick. Don't miss the Prosciutto Pie, perfect arugula and prosciutto combo.
651 Emerson St, Palo Alto CA — (650) 353-2208
Oren's Hummus Shop All of the sides are gluten free and lots of vegetarian options. The chicken skewer and the rice bowl is good too.
Patxi's Pizza Leftover crust? Ask for some honey! All Patxi's locations have honey-bears to transform your crust into a totally yummy treat!
441 Emerson St, Palo Alto CA — (650) 473-9999
