Description

Start in the parking lot at the base of the trail. The path is well marked but has many steep sections with steps or inclines. Follow the switchbacks to the top where the path will open up onto the top of Bear's Hump. Head to the right to get to the Waterton overlook. There are a couple of benches and plenty of reasonably flat space to sit and enjoy the view.

Flora & Fauna

The area is still a recovering burn scar so trees are gone, leaving the trail very exposed.
Be on the look out for Bald Eagles.
