Description

The Blue Lake Trail branches off from the Naturalist Basin Trail #084 about 1 mile from its junction with the Uinta Highline Trail. It passes between the Morat Lakes before climbing a steep bench which contains Blue Lake.

Blue Lake has room for camping but very few trees of any size (they're mostly dwarf pines). Mt. Agassiz forms a stunning backdrop to this lake.
