Need to Know

Though this road is open to vehicles, it is pretty rough and would likely require 4wd. Therefore it is not often used by cars. It makes for a great run or a nice shortcut for a hiker.

Description

This route passes through high sagebrush flats under tall rhyolite cliffs. The views along the road are pretty good, with the farmland to the north and numerous small canyons all around. Sugarloaf Spring flows year round, and supports a rich riparian area.
