February 1 to October 31: 5:30 am to 10 pm
November 1 to January 31: 7 am to 7 pm

It is closed to access at other times. The airport can also close the trail at any time if they feel there is a security threat.

Access can be granted to people who apply for a security badge, which requires a background check and a $15 dollar fee.

Description

The trail begins at the end of North Temple, where the road closes to unauthorized vehicular traffic. The trail picks up here and heads west. It starts out as a wide bike path and access road for airport employees. The trail then heads off of the road before the road turns to the north. At this point the path narrows to about the width of a single truck. The trail follows the Surplus Canal and continues west. The trail ends at a Hyatt Hotel.
